Welcome to Team Bondi Fit - we have a variety of Beginner Friendly sessions, Monthly Introduction Days, Beginner Clinics & 1 on 1 sessions available.
Swim squad 6am: Swim squad 6am: Cycle/ Run - 6:30am: Monday & Wednesday Squad swims are available at Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre at 6am & 6:30pm for rookies that can swim 200 metres & want to build up distance. You will need flippers & some commitment! Run - 8am: Surf Swim ROOKIES 11am Swim Squad 6:15pm Bondi Icebergs includes Stroke Correction Swim squad - 3pm:

Beginner & Rookie Swimmers - pool & surf: It is critical that you start at the correct session for both your own safety, maximising your swimming experience & helping us help you swim faster - woohoo! There are lots of swims available – regular squads, squads including stroke correction, open water swims or 1 on 1 sessions. We assess you in 1 of 3 groups as below. Once you have been coded into our system, you can simply turn up – woohoo!
* Beginners - cannot swim 100 metres non-stop freestyle:
You need a 1 on 1 lesson & integration into our stroke correction squads.
1 on 1 times: Wednesday & Friday 7:30am, Monday & Wednesday 7:30pm or Saturday 4:15pm.
Location: Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre.
Cost - $100 or set of 5 - $425 upfront ($85/ lesson). BRING A FRIEND FREE to all 1 on 1 swims.

Stroke Correction squads:

* Tip - you need to swim 2 - 3 times per week until you can swim 1km non-stop freestyle!
* Pool Rookies: can swim 500 metres – 1km+ but need breaks:
1 on 1 is advised but not essential – see above for available times.
We advise integration into both our stroke correction squads & regular swim squads asap.

Learn to get comfortable in the ocean, how to catch waves & swim with people of similiar ability!
Minimum SAFETY requirement is that you can swim 500 metres non-stop freestyle & can quote a time for this or even better, you have attended a Bondi Fit pool squad.
You just need to make contact 48 hours before your 1st session & then you can turn up - woohoo!!!
Beware Bondi Parking issues - be ready to go 11:20am!
Big swell? We offer safer swim options such as "swim along the beach" inside the break.
Please note - you will not correct breathing & stroke correction in the surf – all swimming technique must be learned in the pool as above!

Background - you can swim 500 metres to 1km(+) non-stop freestyle...
You will not correct breathing & stroke correction at North Bondi – all swimming technique must be learned in the pool as above! We provide water safety but be aware this is a squad & we cannot be everywhere at once!
- North Bondi Surf Club Saturday 11am = ROOKIES! This is perrfect rookie option once you can swim 500 metres non-stop freestyle comfortably! Be there 11:20am & be aware of Bondi parking issues!
- North Bondi Surf Club Saturday 9:30am for thos that can swim 1km(+) non-stop freestyle:
we regularly get 10+ rookies in this group. Be there 9:20am & be aware of Bondi parking issues!
* Footnote - to improve swim speed in the open water, we advise both our stroke correction squads & regular swim squads. You have more options in open water if you are faster in the pool!

If you own a road bike & are confident riding, here are some guidelines before attending:
- Please make sure your bike in good, working condition
- DO NOT wait for the night before to check it!
- Dress according to the weather - the rule of cycling is to overdress, not underdress!
- Arrive 10 minutes early - we don't wait for anyone...
- We train RAIN HAIL SHINE! Casual fees apply or FREE to monthly members!
