Intermerdiate+ swimmers: Swim Squads that include Stroke Correction - you will be given a test set which is designed to help you learn to be part of the water. This test set will increase in intensity & you will feel the moment when swimming becomes hard! It is at this point that we often get the most gains in technique!
Think Thorpie & how relaxed he swims - he is the master of making it look it easy & maintaining technique under pressure. This takes alot of time & patience. The hard swimming is the easy bit - it's learning to swim slow (& look like Thorpie), then progressing from slow to fast that is the hard bit...
Once you have completed the test set & felt the changes in your "feel for the water", you will guided through some swim drills. Often strong swimmers that join the squad have bad breathing. Sure they are talented, but they muscle through the water - these ones are hard nuts to crack!!! So we wack them over the head, tell 'em to slow down & teach them to breath out old bad air & INHALE lots of fresh new air - woohoo!!!
AIR - the secret to swimming quicker. The more air you get into your blood & muscles, the more power you can generate. Sounds simple but it's harder than it sounds...
Swim drills - we have a variety of swim drills that progress from easy to harder & if you are prepared to do it slowly, you will learn to relax in the water!
* Rookie Introduction Swim Pack - includes unlimited swimming at our swim squads listed below...
* Includes a 1 on 1 swim lesson at times listed below.
We have 8 pool swim squads with 4 including Stroke Correction.
We also have Open Water Swim squads on Thursday 6:30pm (Clovelly) or Bondi 9:30am - the coach will let you know when you are ready to attend these!
You can start anytime as you get 1 month from your 1st lesson - cost is $199.

- Friday 6am & Saturday 3pm (Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre) or Monday 6am & Wednesday 6:30pm (Bondi Icebergs).
- You are advised to mix this in with regular Bondi Fit swim squads on Monday & Wednesday 6am or 6:30pm (Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre).
- Beginners: you will do more stroke correction - woohoo!!! Also see below for 1 on 1 options.
